Terms & Delivery
We offer a quality and personal service. Direct contact by phone and e-mail is welcomed if you need specific information and to quickly resolve queries about our products or services.
Orders may be placed online on our secure order form which appears as you build your order within the shopping pages, or by phone 01394 385787, or by post using the manual order form that can be printed from the Website. Click here if you wish to order by mail.
We can deliver your order to your home address, or to an alternate address if that is more convenient. We can also deliver to a third party (e.g. a surprise gift) and can enclose a free gift card on your behalf. Please let us know your greeting plus any 'need by' dates in the comments box on the order form.
Should you require your order to be delivered to an alternate address please supply the full details of the delivery address in the space provided on the order form. It would also assist us to have a daytime phone number and e-mail address for the designated address in the event of any difficulties with the delivery.
Online and postal orders will be acknowledged by e-mail. Any queries that result will be notified immediately by e-mail or phone.
Delivery Terms & Conditions
Please inform us if your order is required by a specific date.
We aim to dispatch your order the same day it is received at our office (if before noon), or the next working day, subject to availability. For occasional out of stock items please allow 14 days for delivery.
For multi-item orders where we are out of stock of an item we will make every effort to contact you. Failing that, as a principle, we will send the items we have in stock and the outstanding items will follow-on at no extra charge, unless instructed otherwise.
We will e-mail you when your order is dispatched to confirm delivery details.
Deliveries are not normally made at weekends and bank holidays, though some Saturday deliveries are possible subject to a surcharge. Please contact us for details.
We make every effort to ensure your order is delivered as per your instructions. For customer delivery times see below. In most cases a signature is required. If you are out a card will be left requesting you contact the Courier's local depot to arrange re-delivery, or your local post office. If they do not hear from you within 5 working days your order will be returned to our office. If the delivery is returned to our offices we reserve the right to charge for re-delivery.
Damages
All damages and faults should be notified to us immediately. In the case of transit damage please retain the original packaging. Where return to us is required we will liase with you about collection/return.
For toys that are faulty we will replace the component part where possible, or replace the toy. Your statutory rights remain unaffected.

UK Highland & Islands** Delivery Charges
(**Including N. Ireland, Scottish Highlands & Islands, Isle of Man, Channel Islands, and Isle of Wight)
These are currently based on weight and we will endeavour to find the most cost effective service and quote you for delivery. No monies will be taken until we have received your confirmation of charges.
Delivery is usually via Royal Mail Recorded Delivery, or in certain circumstances Royal Mail Standard Parcel Service.

International Deliveries (outside the UK)
Wooden toys are heavy and therefore expensive to ship, especially to the USA. On receipt of the order we will quote for the shipping cost and will confirm the service to be provided. These are currently based on weight. As a general rule an airfreight service is used with a target delivery time of 5 days in Europe, 7-10 days to N. America and 14 days elsewhere. No monies will be taken until we have received your confirmation of charges.
Please note that all taxes or duties associated with the order are the responsibility of the recipient, and as is customary, returns are at the purchaser's expense.
